GENERAL FACILITY INFORMATION:

Campus Recreational Services offers and wide array of activities and classes that take place indoors and outdoors both on and off campus. Some are purely recreational, while others are very competitive. Our program offices are all located in the East Gym which is adjacent to the outdoor track and on your left as you enter the campus.

Depending on the time of year and weather we service approximately 1500-2000 people per day through the programs we offer. One of our goals is to provide healthy opportunities to students outside of the classroom and complement the experiences they receive elsewhere in campus life. With all of the different opportunities offered, we believe we have something for everyone and every lifestyle.

Main Office
Campus Recreational Services Main Office (777-2113) is located in the East Gym, adjacent to the main entrance. Core office hours for 2005-06 are 8:30 am-5 pm during fall and spring semesters, 8 am-4 pm during summer semester. Hours may vary due to University activities, holidays and vacations.

Membership Services Office
The Membership Services Office (777-3072) is located in the East Gym, Room 139. Click here for more information.

Recreation Fee
The $28 Recreation Fee is the foundation for the funding for the recreation program. It pays for many of the professional staff salaries, as well as student staff salaries and program costs for Open Recreation, Outdoor Pursuits and building operations. It also supports program operational costs to run the overall Campus Recreational Services department. Undergraduate and Graduate students pay this fee as a part of their Comprehensive Fee each semester, which is incorporated on their tuition bill. Some facets of the programs may require additional fees due to the nature and expense of the activity.
